Even if they don't say that it works, USB drives typically work on anything as long as they're reformatted correctly. I still don't consider out of the box format to be an issue, since reformatting is pretty fast and easy. Probably needs HFS+ (Journaled) but then I didn't hear how the OP intended on doing the backups. Any drive that you have the hardware to attach, once formatted for Mac, should be readable by either or both. Drive formats for use by the two systems you mentioned are identical.
